From
the President

Kemper has a rich tradition of
providing excellence in education and has had for over a century
and a half. Her graduates have distinguished themselves as leaders
in all walks of life throughout the nation and the world.
What makes Kemper a unique
experience is the philosophical foundation laid by Professor F.T.
Kemper in 1844. "The object is to develop in harmony
the physical, mental and moral powers. Not to make mere
scholars, but to make men and women of high moral and ethical
character." Our lives are not just books and lectures,
the true learning experience is a combination of books, morals
and values.
The Kemper Standard of Honor was
designed to develop, in each cadet, a sense of positive moral and
ethical behavior. It was instituted in 1915.
The teaching of morals and values
is an intricate part of Kemper's program. This type of
educational experience provides our students a strong cornerstone
for life. Parents and society demand this type of
instruction, which produces students with a life of purpose and
honor.
For those parents and students who
are considering Kemper Military School for
their educational experience, Kemper instills in her students
self-discipline, self-reliance and motivation to succeed,
regardless of the difficulty of the task. At Kemper,
students thrive as individuals, but succeed as members of a team.
Kemper cultivates a
superior-working environment where moral, physical, educational,
professional and leadership development of each student is encouraged
in a structured military setting. Kemper will continue to
provide this unique type of education for our students into the
new millennium. We educate young men and women to meet the
challenges they will encounter in the future.
Kemper proud!
